What are your shipping rates?

Standard Shipping

Most books and music ship for a flat fee of $5.95 – no matter how many items you order. The more you buy, the more you'll save on shipping! All items will be delivered together in one parcel, with the longest estimated delivery date applying (shown at checkout).

Please note that a heavy or larger item may incur an extra shipping charge, depending on the item you are buying. We may also charge a specialty packaging fee if an item needs extra protection during delivery. Any applicable charges will be clearly shown at checkout for your review.

Sell Yours items are excluded from flat rate shipping as these are not sent by Fishpond.

Delivery Surcharges

Any additional Rural Delivery and Heavy Item Delivery surcharges applied by delivery companies are passed on to the customer. These charges are calculated at checkout.

Specialty Packaging

Some items need a little extra care to arrive safely. For certain products - such as chilled or temperature-sensitive goods - we may use specialty packaging like insulated liners or cool packs to help protect them during transit.

When this is required, an additional packaging charge may apply. If so, the cost will be shown during checkout.

We only add specialty packaging when it’s necessary to ensure your items arrive in the best possible condition.

Fast Shipping

Fast shipping is available on some products. The shipping fee and estimated delivery time will be calculated for you during checkout. Fast shipping means that if you've ordered multiple items, each item will be sent separately to get to you sooner.

New Zealand Delivery Times

You will receive an email when your order is shipped. This includes the method the items were shipped by. For each method, the following delivery timeframes apply:

CourierPost

Target delivery times for couriers:

• Business Addresses: By 9am the next working day
• Residential Addresses: By 12 noon the next working day
• Rural Delivery Addresses: 2-3 working days

NZ Post Standard Mail

Next working day in Auckland, 1-3 days for all other areas.

Please note that delivery targets are a guide only and we do not guarantee that your item will arrive within the delivery target.

If your order doesn't arrive within the given timeframe, please let us know via the order tracking system.
